Downtown Shelton Electricity Restored after Friday Morning Outage
Mason County PUD No. 3 has restored electricity to nearly 4,100 customers affected by an interruption in electrical service this morning (Friday).
The outage began at 11:12 with restoration at 11:45.
The outage occurred when a breaker on the transmission line which feeds the Mason Substation in downtown Shelton opened.
The general areas that affected included:
- Downtown Shelton
- Angleside
- Northcliff area
- Portion of North 13th Street
- Hillcrest
- Cloquallum Road
- Lost Lake
- Star Lake
- Lake Arrowhead
- Satsop Cloquallum Road
PUD 3 is investigating the cause of the outage.
