Mason County PUD No. 3 has announced that there will be planned power outage the morning of Tuesday, June 8 to replace a pole on the corner of Ridge Road and Dearborn Avenue.
The outage is necessary to quickly respond to the replacement of the pole. An estimated 133 customers will be affected in the following areas:
- Bellevue Avenue
- Cascade Avenue
- Division Street
- Edgewood Avenue
- Ellinor Avenue
- Holman Street
- Olympic Highway South
- Ridge Road
- Summit Drive
- Union Street
The outage will begin at 8:00 AM on Tuesday, and is expected to last about 8 hours. Because of the short timeline, PUD 3 is working to notify customers by phone or with door hangers.
While the project is underway motorists may experience occasional traffic delays. Your patience during this time is greatly appreciated
As with any outage, the PUD recommends that sensitive electronic appliances and equipment be turned off and unplugged until power is restored for at least 20 minutes. Especially with today’s electronics, it is important for customers to consider the use of surge protectors in the home.
