...a community-owned and governed utility, created to provide safe, reliable and cost-based electric and wholesale telecommunication services...
This notice is provided in an effort to give you information regarding required electrical work permits.
An electrical work permit is required on all new and/or altered wiring. There is a fee required for this permit.
For your convenience, you can receive a permit on the internet at www.Lni.wa.gov or in person at any Labor and Industries office.
An electrical inspector is in the Mason County area on designated days. Contact the Department of Labor and Industries, at one of the phone numbers listed below, for the days scheduled in your area.
The electrical inspector will leave a green sticker on your meter base if the service has been approved. It is the customer's responsibility to notify Mason County PUD 3 of approvals. You can either call in the designated numbers on the green sticker, or bring in your electrical work permit application copy which has been signed off by the state inspector. Mason County PUD 3 must have the approval before the service connection can be scheduled.
