To protect personal information provided to Mason County PUD No. 3, determine whether a deposit is necessary for new customers, and to prevent unauthorized changes to accounts, an application for credit will be required for a request to provide service.
The protection of customer information is extremely important to PUD 3. New federal regulations through the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act are in effect requiring the PUD to use rigorous measures to identify, detect, and mitigate the potential for identity theft.
