Project Share
Neighbors Helping Neighbors
Project Share is an assistance program that was started in 1983 as a joint effort of PUD 3, the Community Action Council (CAC), churches, interested citizens, and PUD 3 customers. Its purpose is to assist low-income customers as certified by Community Action Council with their electric bills.
Through the generosity of donors last year, more than 650 low-income families (as certified
by CAC) were helped with a $100 payment on their account.
To those who have never participated, or are not aware of the program, we respectfully ask
that you give Project Share some thought. All contributions are allocated to qualified
low-income customers, there are no administrative costs.
Your helping hand is a good opportunity for neighbors to help neighbors and your donation
is tax deductible.
It's easy to contribute to Project Share:
- Add any amount to your electric payment and note the amount of your donation on the payment stub
- Make out a seperate check to Project Share, or
- Sign up for a monthly donation by calling our office.
Please call us if you would like more information. Thank you for your consideration.
The PUD extends its appreciation to all who have contributed to the program in the past.
