John H. Whalen was elected for his first term as PUD 3 commissioner in 1983. He continues to serve as the
commissioner from the second commissioner district of Mason County.The second
district is comprised of the northern and northwestern areas of Mason County. He
presently holds the position of secretary of PUD 3's board of commissioners.
